Fundamentals of Life and Health Insurance and Annuities are instructed in a friendly classroom environment where each student receives the individual attention required to pass the state exam and begin the path to becoming a professional Insurance Agent. Note about Georgia State Insurance Department Background Check requirement:
Effective January 1, 2010, all new resident applicants are required to submit electronic fingerprints for a criminal background check. The applicant is responsible for the costs of the electronic fingerprints. Currently, the cost for electronic fingerprints is $52.90 and must be paid for by Money Order made payable to "Cogent Systems, Inc." (cash and checks are not accepted). Pearson VUE provides digital fingerprint services at three of its Georgia test centers: Atlanta South, Macon and Marietta North. If a candidate wishes to have their fingerprints taken at one of these three test centers, they must present the required fee when reporting to the test center. Additional information regarding the fingerprint requirements can found in the candidate handbook or at the Departments website at: www.pearsonvue.com.
